Women in Law Leadership Stronger Together Awards
The WILL Stronger Together Awards honour the outstanding contributions of women* lawyers across Canada. These women demonstrate extraordinary leadership in causes that positively impact their communities; they develop, and promote initiatives that contribute to the well-being and betterment of their communities; and they are trailblazers in the areas of legal education and/or scholarship, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and service through Pro Bono initiatives or service to other community organizations.
*Women include cis, non-binary, transgender, and others who identify as women.
The Stronger Together Awards are virtual awards that were initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic when we were unable to gather together. The winners are recognized online, and videos celebrating their achievements are shared on the WILL social media accounts and on this website.
The WILL Stronger Together Awards honour the outstanding contributions of women lawyers across Canada.
These Awards will recognize and celebrate women lawyers who are:
- Demonstrating extraordinary leadership in a cause which has positively impacted their communities;
- Developing and promoting initiatives that contribute to the well-being and betterment of their communities; and
- Blazing a trail in the areas of legal education and/or scholarship, equity, diversity, inclusion,
and service through Pro Bono initiatives or service to other community organizations.
